And the World Will KNOW! [Dec. 18th, 2008|12:37 am]
Newsies Stamping

Location: misery Missouri
Gender: female

Describe yourself using some positive adjectives (at least three!): encoraging, careful, geeky, loyal, creative, intelligent, easy going, flexible (as in I can see and empathize with lots of different viewpoints, not something naughty. lol).
Describe yourself using some negative adjectives (at least three!): I over think things fairly often, spacey, inferiority complex.

What are some of your hobbies? reading, writing, furthering my knowledge of obscure things, singing, messing around with my saxophone, doing random stuff with my friends, forum RPing.
What would you say are your strengths?: I'm pretty good with memory (and thus have a lot of random knowledge that often prompts people to tell me to go on Jeopardy or something, lol), I'm usually a pretty good mediator, I'd like to think I'm good at writing, but I think that rather remains to be seen, I find something to like in just about everyone.
What would you say are your weaknesses?: I'm a procrastinator to the MAX, I almost always put others before myself, and I tend to beat myself up over my mistakes.
What are you afraid of?:Spiders, getting lost, being the last human alive on earth, the idea that there is another demension/world that if humans were to know and understand it it would utter distroy them which occasionally breaks through to our world and causes chaos (completely Lovecraftian, I know). And OMG zombies. :shudders:

What character – literary, mythological, legendary, historical, etc. – would you say you most identify with and why? (No one from Newsies, please)
ooh, hard question is hard.
okay, finally decided on Jacky Faber, from the Bloody Jack books. She's a self professed coward, but she's tough when she has to be and is extremely loyal to her friends, even if knowing her can be pretty hard on them at times due to her 'before her time' behavior. I'd also like to claim the 'everyone who meets her usually likes her, and guys fall at her feet all over the world', but, y'know, inferiority complex and all that. It's hard enough for me to convince myself that friends that have known me for years don't think I'm a pathetic loser at times. So, attractive strangers? Not so much.
What are some of your dreams or goals (long term, short term or both if you like)? The big one? To publish my writing and eventually be able to support myself by just doing that. Short term? I'm gonna concentrate on not flunking out of college. xD

Which appeals more…
Fame or Fortune? I'd like to say that I'd be content with fortune, but sadly, I would like to be recognized for my stuff. So, fame I guess.
Impulse or Planning? Impulse, definitely. That's when the most fun happens.
Family or Friends? Can I say both, but with the reduction of my mom? Because both groups are pretty cool...with the exception of her. Yeah, definitely the root of most of my neuroses.
Leader or Follower? really depends on the situation. I can step up the plate and be the leader when I'm needed to.
Heart over mind or Mind over heart?: most of the time, heart over mind.
Is the glass half-empty or half-full?: I try to see it half full, but I have the half empty tendency.

Do you believe in seizing the day? Oh, totally.
Sum yourself up in one word: Unusual.

Anything else we should know? I am usually not that down on myself, I promise. I'm not total bummer to be around. xD Oh, and I am a totally Potter/Star Wars/cult classics geek. Just so's ya all know.

Pictures (or a description of yourself):

Technically not putting "Seize the day" in the subject line is an indication that you haven't read the rules, however, I'm going to overlook that.

My first instinct says David, so I'm going with that.
